Europort Maritime

The Europort exhibition once started as the maritime exposition in the port area of Rotterdam. After a couple editions the exhibition was held Amsterdam. The exhibition became a high-quality international event.
25 Years ago a new exhibition for inland navigation and fishery was introduced as Port & Inland Navigation, later renamed into Inland Shipping & Fishery (BiVi) and after this positioned as Rotterdam Maritime.
Over the last years the possibilities for a partnership between Europort and Rotterdam Maritime were sorted out. This happened on the explicit request of maritime trade organisations, like Holland Marine Equipment. In the end Ahoy Rotterdam took over Europort and combined Europort and Rotterdam Maritime to one new maritime event: Europort Maritime.
After 2004 the exhibition has been organised twice as Europort Maritime. Because of national and international developments, such as the successive export of the exhibition concept to countries as Turkey, Romania and Qatar and the extended international network of sales representatives, the organisation decided to name the exhibition Europort again from 2009 onward.
