Free Technics is a subsidiary of Imtech Marine & Offshore. The Dutch company was founded in 1990, in Hazerswoude, the Netherlands. Free Technics BV looks back at over 16 years of history, and is proud of the more than 800 shipboard installations we have delivered over the past few years. During this time, our company and her reputation have grown significantly, and has built a good name with her partners.
The maritime world is as turbulent as the ocean herself. The high quality of services and products is constantly rising, and the market continues to demand more cost-efficient, effective, safe and durable solutions.
Free Technics BV is used to fulfilling these expectations: the delivery of innovative, highly qualified technological solutions for yachts and commercial ships, oil-rigs and industry. Solutions, which fit the current high market-standards, and which offer the customer a measurable added value.
Technology is usually a concern for owners and shipyards of luxury yachts. Exactly this is why they need a partner whose core-business is this very same technology. Free Technics BV is that company, with insight and technological knowledge thanks to many years in the field.
Free Technics BV develops high-tech systems which can be integrated with the other equipment, as well as perform maintenance. It is an organization that knows her responsibility and does not avoid it, a company that can take responsibility for the technology on board during the entire life-span. Her employees fully understand the advanced technological systems, and know how to integrate them in a vessel.
Free Technics BV delivers a complete “glass cockpit” solution which, of course, is innovative and according to the latest standards. Depending on the wishes of the client, she can deliver custom-made or standard systems; all developed in-house with our own innovations.
Free Technics BV works globally in more than 20 countries with partners such as importers and dealers: trained companies that can provide service to passenger- and commercial vessels, as well as luxury yachts. Also dredgers, tugboats and offshore production- and oil-rigs belong to the many fields in which our software is used.
In the meantime we look back at over 16 years of experience in all sorts of field within the industry. We are proud of the more than 800 installations we have done and are still used worldwide.
